Bookkeeper in Kent, Washington

South Seattle construction firm, with over 30 years in the business, is seeking a full-time, experienced bookkeeper, with at least 3 years experience. If you have no previous and recent Quickbooks, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable experience, please do not apply.
This position will be responsible for accounts receivable, invoicing customers, processing payments, collections, ordering office supplies, general customer service, other construction related bookkeeping duties and processing payroll for approximately 15 employees. Must be proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office and must have knowledge of general accounting procedures.
Will be required to communicate with customers via telephone and email, on a limited basis, and work with the company accountant when necessary. There  Must be excellent in composing letters and proofreading. Must be honest and able to handle confidential information.
Excellent attendance is a must. The bookkeeper's hours will be 7:00am-3:30pm
Salary is $18/hour, with potential performance bonues.  Unable to offer health benefits or paid vacation at this time, but can provide performance bonus potential with the opportunity to work for a well established company, in a small, friendly environment.  Must be comfortable working in a construction trailer, and sometimes, working alone for hours at a time. Therefore, looking for someone dependable, honest, pays attention to detail, with few mistakes, if any, and prompt. Dress is casual.
